Jack Thompson speaks regarding Virginia Tech shootings

Jack Thompson is interviewed by David Gregory on MSNBC regarding the Virginia Tech shootings. Apparently, someone in MSNBC's booking department mistook Thompson for a credible, rational source on school shootings.

Gregory is obviously bewildered by the fact that Jack Thompson is a lawyer, rendering him unable to interject at any point during Thompson's tirade. David says it best near the end, "Jack Thompson, an attorney who specializes, uh, terribly in these crimes."

Thompson, of course, wanted to end on a more tasteful note, "Ironically, I was on this campus, years ago, talking in a debate about the dangers of these games and now it's come to that school."

Fuck you.

I find it insulting when Jack Thompson blames violent video games for school shootings. It is avoiding the real problem and causing further deaths. in reality, the biggest problem is bullying. Bullying mentally erodes a students sanity to where he loses all touch with reality. When you push a person for so long, its a matter of time before he strikes back. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris were victims of bullying. Cho was also bullied for his learning disabilities and speech impediment.
