Mailbox

The opposite of worry is faith

The opposite of sight is blindness

I worry that I am losing
my ability to cope

I waited for the postal worker
to come and collect the mail

The scheduled pickup
was one oclock

I started waiting at eleven a.m.
and was there until two p.m.

I thought that I had accidentally
dropped my paycheck
in the mailbox
along with the outgoing mail.

The opposite of poor is wealthy

My paycheck was not
in the mailbox.

Please dont judge me
for my misfortune

I know that I should be
more careful.
