In case of dual engine failure the A330 reverts to Alternate Law.
When the gear is down it reverts to Direct Law.
This means all protections are lost.

They'll probably never read this, but I just wanna say thank you for savings these peoples lives. I'm attending an Air Transat flight soon, so it's good to know they have talented and skilled pilots.
