Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is an off-road motorcycle racing competition, produced inside a stadium that seats no less than 35,000 fans, where dirt is brought in and sculpted using construction equipment. Created from its root, motocross, Monster Energy Supercross is widely regarded as the king of extreme sports/action sports and is considered motorsports' second most popular championship behind NASCAR. Some of the world's greatest athletes compete in what has been described as the most physically demanding sport in existence. Top supercross riders James Stewart, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto and more battle it out for the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross crown, the sport's biggest prize.

  • @W3B5TA do u mean Fluent?

  • @jw621557 I mean I agree with you. I'd love to see a rougher track. Not with all those obstacles you mentioned but rougher for sure. I think the reason they have it laid out the way it is now is for casual fans that just want to see a fast paced race with huge jumps. A casual fan isn't going to care if the track is rough or not.

  • Musquin look so fluid

  • @madskrillz2 I don't know what you are talking about. The tracks back in the early days of SX were much more rougher then they are today and my point is is that even with 8" of suspension those guys were turning the same lap times. As smooth as these tracks are today, and with these bikes having twice as much suspension they may as well ride on pavement.

  • @Atheistprimate Yep, tracks were different then what they are now. Some have included the over under thing but these guys need to be challenged. Everything is measured out. Triples are laid out a certain distance apart and a certain height. Don't get me wrong, I love watching but I think these guys should be challenged. I raced Pontiac Silverdome back in 1977 and it was rougher than any outdoor track I ever raced. These tracks get groomed too much I think.

  • @jw621557 Well they don't have 8" of suspension anymore. To have a track like that with the bikes of today would be like drag racing with a NASCAR stock car. If you wanna see all that, go watch endurocross. Like the other guy said, the 90's tracks are where it's at.

  • @madskrillz2 On the contrary it is not boring it is challenging. SX better be careful they don't turn our sport into NASCAR. Right now it is jump jump turn jump jump turn whoops turn jump jump turn, like Arenacross. Some of the tracks are nice but some are boring. Search YouTube for 1978 Supercross and watch and see what the LA Coliseum track was like then. Sand sections, water and mud sections and the track was twice as rough, yet those guys went just as fast on bikes that had 8" of suspension.

  • cant wait to watch

  • that track looks like shit

  • Track looks rougher than a tramps beard.
