@davidgruty AutoCAD is sold through a network of dealers so the price varies. It's about $4,000. There are less expensive solutions like AutoCAD LT but LT lacks 3D and automation capabilities.

It's so annoying! I spent 2 hours laying out my design and then when I print/plot, IT WON'T PRINT THE DIMENSIONS.....THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! the whole reason I was making it was to have a better layout of the dimensions!!!

@sharp69antifa You will want to set your layout so that it is specific to the printer you will be using. That way the device driver will provide AutoCAD with the correct information so the scale will come out correctly.

@davidgruty There are AutoCAD alternative software based on ITC, like ZWCAD.To my opinion, I don't need too many new functions, just want it to be more correct and stable, ZWCAD is not bad.
