I first saw this truck and it says layland but i guessed it was a US? Australian truck then I he name Land train so i youtubed it and found it was a British truck its a shame this was underrated because its American styling still looks awesome today
This is really interesting for truck nerds like me! I used to drive two of these trucks. They are Leyland Landtrains . These particular ones were part of a fleet belonging to Pilot distribution ( now owned by Canute I believe ) They were very underated and not a common truck here in the UK. These ones are some of the last Landtrains 1986/1987, top spec 3029 highway tractors with the Leyland 12 litre engine. Very comfortable , reliable & easy to work on / maintain. Rarely seen or heard of now.
@bigwoolleypenguin Rowntree used to own those trucks before they got bought out by Nestle.
