The worlds first princesses were Africans! 60,000 years ago the only place Homo Sapiens were found was Africa and they were all dark skinned. Only reason why light skinned Homo Sapiens are around is because we interbred with Neanderthals around 15,000 years ago.

I have a daughter. I remember taking my daughter to wal-mart to buy her a doll. There was a white lady standing there when I gave my daughter one of the few black dolls, even though my daughter picked up one of the probably 100+ white dolls on the aisle. She looked at me like I did something wrong to correct my child. I looked at right back at her and said to my child (making sure the woman could hear me) that the black dolls are beautiful, just like you, your mom and your grandmothers.

The ignorance that spills out of these comments is appalling. Go get educated (by schools, not by your parents and grandparents) then post comments. Everyone has their own opinions an those are to be respected, but no one cares for the opinions that come from uneducated mouths.

My favorite part is when the girl says "I was told you can't be a princess because you are black" No you can't be a princess because you are not part of the white aristocracy. I'm sure in Africa their is an equivalent to princess. Maybe black people should teach their children this term instead.
