I think Dali used Dadaism ,,in his paintings ,,,,and made it all too clear ,,,to see ...also carrington did the same thing which were great ,,nice clip

I heared that Dadaists and Surrealists where drugged or under the effect of alcohol or not sleeping and eating for days and then they would paint their art subconciously,

Okay, love the way you put the vid together but i have a few things i have to point out. There is a huge gap between true Dada and Surrealism, and you didn't quite show that, you just kind of skipped around between Max Ernst, Man Ray and Dali. It probably would've been better to show Dada in its earliest form such as Johannes Baader or George Grosz, especially Raoul Hausmann. Otherwise, it was a great and I enjoyed it no joke, just constructive criticism.

@3rdvendetta I think I was 16 when I put this togetter, I was pretty arrogant back then and did this fairly half heartedly. Towards the end of college I took a much stronger intrested in the more contextual side of my art course and now It's turned into photography intrestingly enough. I was lucky enough infact to go see a collection of Max Ernst and Man Ray photographs a REAL treat.
But thank you for your input :)

Some really interesting footage put together in a cool way... Dadaism is the root of modernism and modern thinking but has become institutionalised in precisely the way that they were rebelling against. I suppose this is inevitable as a fringe movement hits the mainstream.
