Just thrown together quickly to test the concept. Inspiration came from BenVanDeWaal's videos.

  • (Ich kann nicht sprechen Deutsch, aber ich werde versuchen)

Dieses video des mechanismus ist alles, was existiert. Ich habe keine fotos oder pläne, sorry.

  • Cool! How long does it run? Doesn't the pendulum slow down all the time?

  • It will run however long I want depending on how much weight/gearing and string it has. Although this one was extra finicky and liked to stop at random times.

Ideally a pendulum will tick at the same rate forever (which is why they are used in clocks!). LEGO escapement mechanisms like this are very imprecise though, and so it doesn't tick very consistently.
