  • Great video, thanks. Novice question, why don't you make the sauce in the steak pan?

  • Super job...Really looks good!!!

  • jezus...that guy is violent with that meat! gotta be a bit more gentle with filet mignon

  • I prepared this meal for my mom on mother's day and she LOVED it!!! The Filet's were by far the most tender that we have ever eaten. I made a slight change to the sauce that came out tasting really really good. Since the alcohol store was closed at 5, I had used the substitution of diet coke. I also added a small amount of brown sugar and karo syrup instead of honey. It was GREAT!! Thank you for posting this video!

  • Very Nice Fillet Mignon!!!! Thank you very much for sharing ur recipe!!! I prepared last night for Valentines dinner and came out delicious!!!!!!

My bf love it!!!! yaaaay!!! :)

I am going to do it again today for dinner... lol

    have extra sauce... :)

  • Very nice! Different than the finishing in a 450-500 oven which seems so common. I tried your recipes with a couple changes in the sauce. Add a touch of Balsamic & a small handful of dried cranberries (Craisins) and reduce. Slightly tarter but a nice balance to the meat which I crust with crushed pepper simmer in EVOO. You might mention to watch out for the alcohol steam from the reduction. It can give you a buzz if you're not careful. ;D Excellent job on the video, I'm bookmarking it. Cheers!!

  • very clear. video

  • seems more like a wives tale

searing like he did will seal all of the moisture inside
