Gencer hated Callas'guts and she was hallucinating that she was better than Callas but she also adored Callas. Scotto on the other hand just hated Callas ;)

If this woman adored Callas a bit less than she hated her she would have surpassed Renata Scotto as the greatest Callas Hater in the history of Opera :)

She is like Christina Aguillera towards Mariah Carrey - desperately wanting to be better but destined not even to be second after Callas :))
