Charles Woodson, former University of Michigan football standout and 1997 Heisman trophy winner, has made a gift of $2 million to the new University of Michigan C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital and Womens Hospital. The new hospital is scheduled to open in the fall of 2012.

  • A good man and football player. He's got my vote for man of the year.

  • This small clip doesn't do him justice, the complete interview shown during the Thanksgiving 2009 Football Pre Game show showed more and went into detail of this wonderful man and his contribution.

    He was very modest and embarrassed by the attention and publicity that he received and was touched by what he witnessed in the hospital and research center, truly a " Class Act " on the football field and off, the Role Model to which others cannot compete or compare !
