Maybe it's because I first heard this song when it was put to a video of Assassin's creed gameplay, but I always thought this song was about a killer talking to their victim before they kill them. The victim is prideful (one-eyed feather and lion's mane), and the killer is sick of putting up with them.

@MackJCM Nope. I got my copy of this song online about 6 or 7 years ago. I didn't know this was in Assassin's Creed either until people started to comment about it.
