    Imagine yourself, when THIS was performed for the 1st time:

    - you're in 1882, August 8,

    - you're in Russia, in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (which was built to express gratitude to God for saving Russia from Napoleon),

    - you know the French and Russian anthems of the time and hence you easily recognize "La Marseillaise" and "God Save the King",

    - entire country and entire nation celebrates the 70th anniversary of its Victory over Napoleon.
