My final year project for university, based on the legendary shootout film sequence from Michael Mann's Heat. The british SAS and Police try to engage Russian and Middle Eastern terrorists after they kill 100's of people in a govenment Building. Inspired by Modern Warfare 2 and the Metal Gear solid series.
The project is not a film in its own right. its a Tech demo of what can be done. And a homage to several games and films that i have been influenced by over the years. The people walking in the background represent the Poor AI that is so often the case in games.

Nice job! The only negatives were that the zooming in and out during the action made it a bit frustrating to watch, and since there were no defined uniforms, it was hard to tell who was who.

Only one little problem: You should have redone the scenes where people were just passing buy chilling while there was a shootout, this took the authinticity away imho.
Other than that it was great. I would have used some blue filter like Mann does in his movies, looks good.

the people in the background were supposed to be there. My module was for video games so i wanted to show some stupid AI walking arround in the background not really doing anything. But yeah a blue filter would have been cool too.

Did you guy have to get a permit to shoot with real guns, I'm about to make a movie similar to this one and I'm afraid about the real police showing up.

@alexwilsonvids the police were informed and so were local people arond the shoot. We didnt use real guns or anything it was all replicas. all the muzzle flashes are CG.
