  • Thanks Neil. I'm helping to restore a 1928 JD Single Cylinder Hay Loader for the Michigan Flywheelers Museum. I noticed that the hoop at the top and side rails look different. Ours is getting sand blasted, we hope to start reassembly next week.

    Thanks.

  • your welcome, If you watch ebay manuals you'll find an op's manual for the JD, use oak for the wood parts, anything else will break and break something else, yes fir was used but you cant get good fir any more but oak will out last the operator.

  • What is the brand of the loader?

  • Hi, its an IHC but I dont know the model, they made a few and they all look the same

  • I've got the good black team of horses, Now what I need is a pretty little blonde to level the load for me!

  • And some old ones say that was the worst job ever and yet the little blond did it well!!
