you get infected because you dont properly handle saved files. DO NOT just run them and do not change windows to put saved files on desktop. let windows put saved files where the freakin belong in documents...then scan em w/ avast and mbam. the testers dont do it right.

I LIKE MATTS VIDS BUT I WANNA SAY THIS. I DID MY OWN TESTING OF AVAST FREE. I USED DEFAULT SETTINGSFOR AVAST, FIREFOX , AND ALL WINDOWS UPDATES AND WINDOWS FIREWALL AND AVAST KICKED ASS. I TRIED EVERY SINGLE FILE ZERO DAY AND EVERY SINGLE 1 DAY AND NOTHING GOT BY. ONE FILE CALLED FLASH WAS ALLOWED TO BE SAVED BUT I SCAN ALL FILES WITH AVAST AND MBAM AND MBAM NAILED IT SO CAREFUL SOME OF THESE TESTERS ARE ZIPPERHEADS.AVAST IS BEST AND YOUR COMPUTER WILL RUN FASTER ON IT.

avg is the most popular free anti virus bur also the weakest .Avira and avast are far better free anti viruses.I am saying that after I saw the last av-comparatives anti virus tests and avg barely passed the tests . avira and avast had far better results.
In the free anti virus segment there is only one battle and it's between avira and avast.
