@atomictraveller thanks again man, I think I have a decent soundcard (about the most decent thing on this computer!) but I'll have a look. Can't thank you enough for the super quick responses.

It had all been a great demonstration, if he had not put that damn track with "Speech synthesizer" all over it, instead of just subtitling it all. I think "Speech Synthesizer" is rather meant to be used with "Fruity Vocoder" than all alone.

so it´s a midi player? not making any sound it self?

@atomictraveller Thanks for quick response! Time for one more noob question me thinks, how do I get it? or is it not one program or something, I'm still kinda confused, thank you for all the help.

@lightningdownurpants you want a VST host.. (aka sequencer, music software, some people call them "DAW" but this is wrong, daw means the a computer set up for music) - like ableton, reaper, cubase. i use energyXT2.
i can't recommend a free one.. some have demos or lite versions for free, and usually if you buy a soundcard there'll be a cut down version of something on the driver disk.

@atomictraveller soz for noob question but I've heard 'vst' alot, what is it and how do I acquire whatever it is?
lightningdownurpants 3 months ago
@lightningdownurpants it's a plugin format, eg. one composes music in a vst capable host, using vst instruments alongside audio tracks and processing with vst effects.

Yeah, i use max/msp from cycling 74. it allows you to build almost any application or plugin but to re-create 'circuit' seems very hard indeed!
The hardest part is to get the coherency in the beats, randomization is easy. will try one day!
