long range shotgun shooting

After getting a mossburg 500a given to me by a friend.I found out it was the most accurate long range slug gun I had ever shot.

Actually in the process of building a dedicated slug gun out of a mossy 500.. I'm not hung up on any one brand have had and do have them all..

Live in GA now used to live in MI,Lived in MI when you couldn't hunt out of a tree stand during rifle or shotgun season..lol.. Never understood the shotgun only areas or states.. The areas I hunt in in GA and TN are fairly populated but can still use a rifle.

does smooth bore barrel means it doesnt not have spiral carving inside it? you know the one that cause bullet to rotate in flight

I can do the same with my Mossberg 835 slug barrel(smooth bore), with brenneke 3" black magics.

@demontamerkyuubi You know those are some awesome slugs. I wish I could buy just those plastic inserts and snap them into the cheap Winchester slugs

counted 165 steps to that bucket, that's about 160 yards or 130-140 meters

I use a fully rifled barrel and hornady sst's

my rem 870 with a 20 inch barrel fully rifled can shoot accurately once you know the drop! fully rifled is awesome!
