what a beautiful song! very heart touching and sentimental. joe hisaishi is a great composer. I wonder where I can download the movie futari? This movie was made in 1990/1991 but never went to usa. I'm very interested in the story of the two sisters. If anyone has any information please let me know...thanks.

Can anyone translate the title of the song? Looks to me something like 'fantasy of the grass'. As a Chinese I can only make a rough guess by the kanji in the title.

I remeber that the song is the main thema
of Chinema "Futari" And the movie was on
location in Onomichi city, Hiroshima Pref
in the western part of Japan.
The director of "Futari" is Mr.Nobuhiko
Obayashi. He was born in the town.
To tell the truth I was also born in the town
and live there now.
There are many temples and slopes and alleyways ,so the town looks like a huge maze. It's very old-fashioned.
If you watch the movie ,you'll find the peculiar atmosphere.
