LOL!

Give my regards to soul and romance, they always did the best they could. I believe this song is saying that humans are changing, into sheep or dogs, and that we are becoming less human each day, my sign is vital, my hands are cold.

I hope were not all dancers, however sometimes dancing is the only option. But we are all human, and dancers or not, you choose your role.

@Idontknowwhat2type Yes, basically correct. On the band's official website, the biography section states that Flowers is singing "Are we human, or are we dancer?" and also says that the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson (an American journalist and self-proclaimed anti-authoritarian, where he stated America was raising "a generation of dancers". I am thinking Thompson could have picked a better allegory. There is often much expressionism in dancing.
