I had an 88 Horizon with exact same color about 10 yesrs ago. Maybe I was lucky, but NEVER had an engine problem. Changed oil and that was it. Had it for 3 years before I got hit by a drunk driver. I think the durability was due to its simplicity. CV shaft going out was the only major repair. Sadly, I don't see these much anymore.

give a second for that fuel pump to pressurize and it will start better

@keanerulz25 if it gets really cold it will go warrr warrr warr and you think it wont start but if you do it right it will start up.
i replace my battery's every 5 years regardless of condition:)
it has been a long time since i have seen a Horizon in that good of shape. nice car

those cars allways crank slow when cold like that mine did with a brand new battery:)
