At 2:57 every one can see the 'lago Agnel'(also 1:56 and 3:04) and more distant the 'lago Serù'(also 2:52). Unfortunately I could not be there this year. What a pity!
At 1:40 you can see the Gran Carro with its glacier (also at 2:36 and 2:52). At 2:30 you have a look at 'punta Basei'. Everything is in the 'Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso' and the Gran Carro is the border with the 'Parc de la Vanoise' (and France BTW). Wonderful memories.

At 2:57 is where they filmed the "cliff hanger scene" in the 1969 film The Italian Job.
