  • Thanks for the videos!

If I were to show a video of one of the Southern California freeways to a foreigner in order to show the amazing American freeway system, what would be the best freeway to show?

  • @zackjolley: Hi there. I'm going to send you a private message. I'm going to delete this particular video soon, as I have a *much* improved version of it that I'm going to start editing.

  • I just noticed how there is some MAJOR tailgating going on with those drivers in front of you! I cannot STAND tailgating! No wonder there's so much road rage down there. LOL

  • @tall32guy: Yeah, I'm one of the very few drivers who actually adheres to the 2 - 3 second rule. Some people ask me if it leads to a bunch of drivers cutting me off all the time, and generally speaking, the answer is no, because I always keep up with the flow of traffic in my lane.

  • What freeway around LA would you say is one that is notorious, not just around LA but in general knowledge around the States and the world, as being the most busy and congested of all of them? Would it be this one, or another?

  • @tall32guy: When it comes to total number of congested hours, probably the Hollywood Freeway (I've sat in congestion on that thing at 1 a.m. on Friday or Sat nights). If we're going for average speeds, then I would have said probably the freeways up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the dot.com boom days of the late 90's to early 2001 (we're talking about stretches of freeway that would average less than 2 MPH across all lanes).

  • @tall32guy: Cross-Bronx Expwy in NYC (I-95) can compete for number of congested hours per day, along with the Hollywood. But perhaps the freeway that "grabs" ones attention for congestion would be the 401 in Toronto, where as many as 18 lanes can all be congested during rush hours. It's also the busiest freeway in North America, with a summertime peak average of 505,000 vehicles per day at its busiest point.

  • See Freeway See The Metropolitan Area Of L.A I-10 And I-405 Most Rush Hour Freeway In L.A Metro Area

  • how long does it take to get from santa monica to downtown LA on average?

  • @FreewayBrent Can you put this same music onto it? I love this song a LOT! :)

  • @FreewayBrent Holy ****! LOL! That is insane! 505k vehicles?! And who would have thought that a freeway that's THAT busy, and the busiest in north America, isn't even in LA or NYC! I knew Toronto was the biggest city in Canada but didn't realize it was that big! LOL
