Motion studies for the 1989 CG short 'Eurythmy'. Just vector graphics at this early stage, no humanoids, and with some unusual gaits and animal dance moves that didnt make it into the final film.

A few folks have written to inquire about the audio track used here. Thanks to io9.com reader casualty.of.science, who identified this as "Qu'ran" by David Byrne and Brian Eno. It appears only on the first edition of their album "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" -- it was removed from later releases in deference to those who regarded it as blasphemous. Thus you won't find it on iTunes or Amazon now, but the full track can be heard here on YouTube:
