This audio is from the original lineup's first performance (after 15 years) infront of a live intimate crowd,at the Rolling Stone Cabaret on Fri Aug 13th 1993 in Winnipeg. After only 2 day's of practice the original band begun where they left off 15 years earlier. This gig was a rehearsal gig of sort's,2 days later they would be playing infront of a large crowd in Gimli at Sunfest for the annual festival there. The following week they headlined the Rolling Stone once again for a string of week long sellout's at the club. The last show on Sat of that week I was just lucky enough to get tickets for.

  • I was there too! It was a GREAT show!

Paul Dean can sure play a guitar!

They did however refuse to play any Loverboy Songs even though Paul Dean started a lick of "Turn Me Loose".....................Bummer......

  • Ya Dean did play that lick every show for the week, and Spider played Highway Isolation, other then that they only wanted to play songs from the time Dean was in the band.

They did play Under My Thumb even though Dean was not on the recording, because they had been playing it at show's before Hannah was on the scene.

Every nite the crowd kept chanting for them to play One More Time and they refused,I like how they stuck to there guns and didnt do it,made it more of a real reunion that way.
