It seems people keep forgetting. Goku could only stay on Earth for a day and going super saiyan uses up that time. The longer or higher he powers up, the less time he has on Earth.

this was NOT the best fight... goku held back ssj3... if he wanted to give vegeta what he wanted he woulda when't ssj3 and fought then... instead he held back

@WildMage03 in ten minutes? Vegeta would've stopped being shocked before then, plus the fact Goku didn't even know if ssj3 would work on earth yet.

@Philzilla219 vegeta would have not killed him, he woulda been way to shocked knowing right then that goku has gone even beyond what he thought, he woulda crushed Vegeta at which point majin buu woulda never been released, so he woulda had even more time then he did in the actual show

@WildMage03 SSJ3 took what, 10 minutes to charge up when he first did it on earth? Vegeta would've killed him by then. And besides since there is no ssj3 goku vs vegeta fight, this IS the best one.

@SaiyaKitsune I love dragon ball z but still have lots to learn. In this fight Im guessing he's on Earth but where does he usually live (differrent planet)? Why only a day?
