T&RMRR - Turtle & Rabbit Mountain Railroad - The new Layout

Our new 2009 Garden Railway Layout - just build in about 14 days, after the old on concrete floor build track got so bad because of winded tracks, so 5 man & woman made it possible that 5.3 tons of gravel & 1.5 tons of new stones where brougt & build into the garden in that time. The main problem was, that our garden is just on 2 meter lower level than the road, so all things have been taken down the stairs...

The new track is now with only R3 Turn out's (all LGB) an has just one curve with an diameter of 105 cm. The main circuit is about 70 meters long, getting up & down about 50 cm per lap from the highest to the lowest point.

And why "Turtle & Rabbit Mountain Railroad"??? It's just easy: Many stones around the track, nearly no place where the track ist flat - And we have two nice rabbits and 2 greece-turtles, so the name was found just quickly.
