@2fast4uberlin & as viruses are obligated intracell parasites, they cant exterminate us (their host) becase they need us & we need them, they keep our evolutive process going on by interchanging genes with us

Monkeys have been living with SIV 4 centuries & now both (the virus & the monkeys) are adaptd 2 live along, but it is highly probable than when the virus jumped 4 the first time 2 monkeys it produced an AIDS like epizootic phenomena until it decreased its virulence

@2fast4uberlin Did u know there is a feline inmunodeficency virus? but FIV and SIV dont cause an AIDS like ailment in monkeys or cats

Of course viruses jump from one mamal species to another through close contact between infectd & healthy tissue the 2 & the more this new host lives with it the most it adapts to the new virus & ends up living along with it

It is likely HIV will continue to mutate but will decrease its pathogenicity an efficient parasite doesnt kll its host

The HIV is definitly a man-made virus due to the fact of the Polio vaccine in the congo. All the facts obviously poiting to Dr. Hilary Koprowski who dissected chimps to culture the vaccine locally with the renal tissue. The chimps were sadly infected with SIV, the source of HIV.
