Oh dear God does this take me back.
I remember that album cover like it was yesterday.
Not knockin on modern gospel, but I definitely prefer the gospel sounds of old.

OMG - I love this song. Haven't heard it since like middle school (early 80's). Been searching for it for years. Big ups to Dr. Breanda Kearney and the St. John C.M.E. Young Adult Choir (Milwaukee, WI) for introducing it to us waaaaaaaay back in the 80's. The Maestro's legacy will neva be 4gotten.

I love this song it is a gospel classic from Thomas vocals on this to the instrumentation especially in the intro, my God today it brings back so many wonderful memories. But most of all it reminds me of God's unconditional love for me, and that He shed His blood on a rugged cross for me, thank u Jesus!!!! Bless u for posting this ..

oh my goodness this is the SONG! i remember my daddy had this on a cassette tape and played it almost every time he picked me up from elementary school - the grave chording did scare me a little then lol, but now i absolutely love the song...now i'm in college, and the song is still with me (as is that tape LOL!) praise the Lord for thomas whitfield, and for you putting this up! peace/blessings!

Wow...I've been searching for this song for at least 20 years and now have found it here! I was 21 yrs old and a Gospel DJ at Fairfield University on the 'graveyard' shift and LOVED this song...especially since I was a guitarist and enjoyed the way Min. Whitfield composed his music (which was WAY contemporary and ahead of his time back then!) Praise God for you having this on YouTube - you've been a Blessing to my Heart...thank you for allowing me to 'go back' to my youth in Christ...!
