My dad works at this place, and we were right up there about 100-150 feet from the fire. It was the most crazy thing I have ever seen, one of the houses would be fine then in a matter of seconds it was fully engulfed

I responded to this fire with the Farmington Fire Department, I wish I had thought to grab my video camera before I ran out of the house, it was unreal to see 7 houses all become fully involved in a matter of seconds. That was by far my most memorable day with the fire department. I'll probably never see anything like it again.

-sigh- that's where all my friends families stay. And I have gone there all my life. I know that it will not be the same when they hopefully rebuild. Lots of memories at that place. They also had vandalism about two years before.

Fond memories of Alton Bay AC Conf Ctr, Read on CBN comments by long lost friend, Russ Samples. All who lost property in our prayers. Thank God no reported lives were lost. As we read in Nehemiah, "..let us rebuild!'

Three factory workers escaped unhurt when a fire broke out at an industrial estate in north Hampshire.
More than 30 firefighters were called to the Mill Lane Industrial Estate in Alton in the early hours.
At the height of the fire, flames were visible from several miles away. Crews were brought in from Bordon, Rushmoor and Basingstoke to help Alton units.
