Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, the former governor of Minnesota and host of the popular TruTV show, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, announced he will no longer use commercial airlines due to the egregious abuses of the TSA and the government.
Ventura said he made the decision to avoid public aircraft after he found himself becoming too comfortable with being routinely searched. He said he was subjected to pat down and search three or four times a week when he traveled for his television show. Ventura had hip surgery and the metal in his body invariably sets off airport metal detectors.
Jesse said he will no longer be forced by the TSA to prove he is not a criminal or terrorist. He refuses to be considered guilty until proven innocent by the government in violation of the Fourth Amendment. He also admitted the decision not to fly may put an end to his career.

i don't see the problem, if you want to fly on a plane then you need to pass through security, obviously it is not a nice process but it's not that bad. At least you know they are being cautious.

@chrisis138 - I don't want to change the constitution -it's perfect as it is. Hope is our government would actually follow it for a change. Are you for or against all the TSA nonsense, government nanny state, etc. I'm not - I get the feeling you're not either - perhaps you miss interpreted some of my previous posts. Because it is "policy", every single day in airports all over the nation TSA "officials" are sexually touching Americans and Americans are allowing them to do it. Things have gotten completely and totally out of control. Hitler and Stalin and Chairman Mao were able to do the things that they did because their people blindly adhered to their "policies". In the United States today, is there anything that the American people would not do if they were told that it was "policy" to do it?

@flute1234 - The Iris scan is part of the trusted traveler program. Other European countries are doing this because it is more effective than what the TSA is doing. Requires a scan of your iris and an in depth background check. I'd be more willing to do this and pay for it than have someone invade my personal private space. Reinforced cockpit doors and aware passengers have done more to make flights safe than all the TSA scanning and groping
