I like the music to the cassette version loading sequence to this game (plus the music in the game itself is awesome too) so i decided to post it on youtube. Contains a very small bit of footage of the game at the end aswell. This game will be reviewed sometime in the near future. Enjoy with a beer!

  • I dont know if this sounds im like im barking mad, but anyone else ever got the impression of an atmosphere when playing certain games/certain machine conversions of games?

This game definetely gives out such an atmosphere, hard to describe i suppose if you knew what i meant you could agree but if you dont you are reading this thinking huh? what?

I find it hard to elborate what im banging on about unless im speaking to someone who knows what im going on about already without asking lol

  • the only good game for the "Wheels of Fire" compilation.

  • I agree with you only slightly - Power Drift on the C64 Wheels of Fire compilation was great - grat game was power drift - im not so sure though because turbo outrun on the c64 was really good aswell - agreed that chase h.q and hard drivin' was pants!

  • this was sick

  • what is the name of the song in the loading screen?... this game reminds me when i was 10... tell me where i can find this theme please, thanks.

  • the music starting from 1:15 kicks ass!!

  • is this real ? so realistic simulation

  • @paulisthebest3uk it's a combo of gameplay / gfx / sound... another few prime examples of it.. wizball (c64 version) ... rescue on fractulus (atari 8 bit) ... starstrike (spectrum) .. chris butler is a great coder with the 3d stuff. remember he worked on space harrier and games such as turbo charge also.. I did think commando would have been a FAR better game IF it contained all the levels and not just hubbards tune eating a lot of memory

  • its the music that create the atmosphere i love the sound of the c64 music

  • The music throughout this entire game was ace.

  • i love the c64 and the sid 6581

  • Nice upload !

Well... you're treating Amstrad CPC 464 users quite bad, as their tape loaders sounded like fax/modem

  • Quanti ricordi!

    Thanks ! :D
