The show is fun and I like it because I discovered it BEFORE reading the books... BUT the books are SO much better. Mistress Denna in the series is like a nice little pat on Richards behind compared to what happens to him in the books.

They way I visualized Darken was way more sinister :/

I love this series. Book was better though. Wish they would've portrayed Darken Rahl with his blond hair, blue eyes, and white robes. It just makes him more sinister.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE the series and the casting of Denna... I just wish they had shown more blood and really gotten into how insane Richard goes.

I could not agree with you more Crawford!!! I LOVE the series as I watched it before reading Wizards First Rule... and they do a great job casting the actress as Denna. Although I would've went w/Jule Benz(Darla from "Angel") but still where was all the BLOOD in the series???

well i saw the series before i read the books(just finished reading the 4th) and i think the denna from the series is less than a nice little pat on richard's behind compared to denna from the book:D
