  • Just imagine that the rope snaps and your engine becomes a rocket.

  • @rainerfilm Two 6mm cap heads in slots only allow it to move 40mm .the rope is steel wire so it,s not going any where

  • I just love jet turbines! That is sweet!

  • hi, im a student and i was very fascinated by your jet engine. i am interested in mechanics and technology and i thought this would be an excellent project for me and a few of friends and some teachers to work on. so if you could possibly send me some parts or even theblueprints used in your engine that would be much appreciated

  • it amazes me how similar it sounds to much bigger engines.

  • how much thrust

  • Every farmer should have one of these connected to a poop digester.

  • You Talk To Much Just Reeevit Up

  • the turbine wheel on this engine is as drawing, made out of 1/8 inch thick 310 stainless welded to a boss with the blades hacksawed out and hand ground to shape with the angle of the blades twisted on,the compressor wheel is milled out of an ally blank no casting on this engine.

  • so you cast it yourself?

  • agree with everthing you say but you can make all the bits yourself with this design ,like you say power is only 5 lb if you really push it with a ally wheel and m/c turbine wheel 7lb but i think if you need more power build kj66 or buy one of the new design for 22lb plus in the same size case

  • made it same shape as wooden wheel but turned and milled out of ally with no cover and runs with 0.08mm. max clearance to nylon inlet. drawing in the gtba newsletter
