TARZAN, RAINSONG's capuchin monkey, chasing a spider

part of TARZAN's job description [ besides being RWS's GATEKEEPER,
and general rascal thief & pickpocket...]
is to rid the rescue center gardens of extra spiders.
he takes his job VERY seriously.
each morning when we let him out for his romp in the canopy, the first thing he does is exercise a 'SPIDER INSPECTION' of each and every tree.
tho he tries intensely, the spiders multiply faster than he can catch them !

capuchin monkeys ['white-face'] are omnivorous.
they not only eat wild fruit and flowers in the forest,
they also eat spiders, lizards, insects, even baby birds and infant mammals they encounter, especially squirrel babies.

TARZAN gets dogfood every day to provide for his protein needs,
but nothing beats FRESH SPIDER !!!
