James Joseph plays KISS' "Goin' Blind" (MTV Unplugged) on bass w/ Distortion

Don't mind my shirt being messed up. No big deal. Here's the story; All my music friends kept asking me, "Are you gonna do a video of yourself playing bass?". I said, "Maybe I would." So since I got this Digi Tech pedal and have been playing my bass through it, I thought I should do a bass video and I picked the MTV Unplugged version of this song. And I've always liked the bass distortion sound. And Gene Simmons (bass player from KISS) uses distortion on stage now these days, so I got that from him. lol. Let me know what you think. No negative comments, please.

its sad Gene opted out for Distortion....hes such a wonderful bassist...distortion just ruins the tone

@KISSFAN8689 It usually depends how fuzzy the distortion sounds. The guitar sounds better like that. I found a better channel on my pedal where the distortion level fits with the bass tone so it doesn't sound all guitar stuff. And I know, the tone was too fuzzy in this video. And I agree with what you say about Gene being a wonderful bassist.

@guitarman1091 Thanks. :) I found bass covers of the MTV Unplugged version of "Goin' Blind" here on YouTube and the bass players who covered this song sounded good, but I came up with this idea to use distortion and sound a little like Gene Simmons.
