This song is my all time favorite. It reminds me of my first job, when i was a kid. I worded in a gift shop at christmas. This song would play on the radio quite often. Each time I listen to it, fond memories come back.

This song reminds me of how my ex-wife cheated on me behind my back for 19 years, HID IT WELL, & played a phony act the whole time.
I definitely dreamed of the good times we never knew.

I agree it is wallowing in emotion, but I love this song for the way she wrote it. If you play music you would know what I mean, it is very well written.
Well; besides that, the lyrics are about heartache and deep feelings which need to be expressed at times. Girls are just better at that stuff I suppose.
