Sig Pro SP2022 Overview Part 1

My gun safety video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3DTMkb8QxI

1.All guns are always loaded!
2.Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy!
3.Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target!
4.Always be sure of your target!

No I have not fired this gun yet so I cannot comment on reliability or accuracy.

PROS:
Reasonably priced for a SIG
Smooth Trigger
Ergonomic for my hands
Interchangeable backstraps
Picattiny Rails (Non-Proprietary)
Robust Frame
Can change fire control unit to make it DAO

CONS:
Pain to field strip and reassemble
To bulky for concealed carry
Somewhat heavy for a polymer pistol
Can't think of anything else so far

  • Where are you from? You speak with an interesting accent.

  • @blahblahyou22 Born here in the USA. I am a filipino.

  • Good job kid!

  • @MrRisk34 thanks

  • I'm looking to get a Sig chambered in .357 Sig. You mentioned that this gun is underrated and a good value for the money. Owning both the SP2022 and some of their more expensive guns, in your opinion, is getting a steel Sig worth paying twice as much?

  • @pcnightmare52 Depends, if you are a Sig Sauer Connoisseur than getting the "Classic" Sig is a must (Just My opinion). If you want a get a "Get the job done and get it done right with Sig Quality" at a less expensive route than I would go for the SP2022.

  • I own many fine firearms, such as: Sig 220, Browning Hi-Power, S&W 5906, etc.. I currently own 4 Sig SP2022's. They are excellent handguns, that are durable, reliable, accurate, and an excellent value. If you are used to field stripping a Hi-Power or S&W, the SP2022 is easy. I use the SP2022,s for concealed carry and i'm only 5'9" and 160lbs. The SP2022's feel light to me after using other handguns i own for concealed carry. A+ for the Sig SP2022

  • @gearkid660 Then SP2022 it is. Thanks.

  • @dpk417182 Yes it is

  • is that a real gun???

  • this was my first pistol purchase. its an awesome beginner automatic.

  • This is the top polymer pistol. The U S Army purchased 5,000 2022's.
