  • Personally I'm an F-15 man, but hey, I just like this song! Ha ha!!

  • I am inclined to think that if you threw a bunch of pilots in a bar together the F-14 and Su-33 guys would get together have a few beers and pick on Mig-29 and F-16 guys...

  • @fawas92 Yes, but what are you gonna do with your fancy stealth fighters, when you barely have enough of them to ensure homeland defense?

  • @fawas92 Ok, so you are gonna be invincible because you shot down some poorly trained iraqui pilot flying an aircraft one or two generations older than yours, with reliability issues and without proper ground support. Until now US just kept slamming almost defenseless enemies, never facing a proper threat. i don't think that some dozens of aircraft downed during twenty years mean something.

  • Alt:

She's got a steep and edgy nature

There she'll be the one to judge you

There's only one that didn't bail

Now I just hope it doesn't fail

  • Anthem of Naval Fighters (eng. -Iceman)

Underneath my wing the sea melts into air

From the water tearing up the fog,

Giving me another lock of greying hair

It puts the ship into a cloak

On the high seas there's a landing strip

That runway has wires that can grip

She's got a steep and hard approach

Out there she’ll be the one to judge

  • My duty is like a sniper's shift

The job daunting just like his

My target's on the body of the ship

The tailhook must catch it, cannot miss.

Like a magnet, entices me the landing strip

That runway has steel wires that can grip

    Give silent ILS another look

It means on target sets the tailhook.

  • From concentration I start sweating bullets I trim my glide path like a jeweler The ship impatiently awaits me "Don't rush me! I'll land it, I assure you!" Like a magnet, entices me the landing strip My nerves are taut like wires that can grip A left-side wind is teaching me a lesson I make a cross-wind sideways landing The ship collapses on me like a rubble Confirms another trap in total bliss And only this crown-snag of it all Can ever leave my soul in peace
  • Underneath me rolls the landing strip I left behind the wires that can grip There’s only one that stuck with me Now I just hope it don’t retreat And so the landing's in the past Right on the spot I land my jet I hope you wish me all the best On the landings that are still ahead. 2x Like before, entices me the landing strip Strung across are wires that can grip Give silent ILS another look It means on target sets the tailhook.
  • @fawas92

True, but MiG is no longer the main supplier of the Russian Air force. Sukhoi is, and their aircraft are at the pinacle of aviation since the Su27. Tests involving F22s, F35s and F18s vs Su27s, 30s, and 35s showed that the FA18 is significantly overmatched and outclassed in many aspects, with the F35 inferior in visual range combat. And MiG35 Vs FA18 would be a good fight.

  • @sgtgutvirt the us has the only operational stealth fighter and f18 will kick any migs ass
