Medial Epicondylitis, also known as "Golfer's Elbow" is a condition where micro-tears occur in either the musculotendinous junction (muscle to tendon attachment) or tenoperiosteal junction (tendon to bone attachment) of the flexor muscles, resulting in pain and inflammation of the affected tendons.
Common treatment practices include long-term rest, over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications or cortisone injections, but all of these treat the symptoms, not the actual condition.
By performing a simple massage, stretch and exercise routine, you can eliminate Golfer's Elbow in a few, short weeks.

  • Hey man, I get what im pretty sure is golfers elbow from weight lifting, always after my arm day. What exercises do you think is causing his?? (i do wrist curls, bicep curls and skullcrushers for 4 sets each

  • @woo2fly21

Stop the skull crushers (triceps) )for awhile and do hammer curls and palm-down curls (biceps) only for a while and see if it helps provide some relief by taking the stress off the inside of the elbow joint.

Not really. You could try theraband and others but you need to work the wrist and fingers simultaneously and through multiple planes of motion and there isn't anything else that really mimics it,

  • @URehab is there way i could get by with out the glove

Thanks for giving me new hope but here where i live in Bulgaria i doubt i can find Flextend.I will have to find something similar to Flextend, damn :( Perhaps a resistance training program without gripping motion might have a similar effect? As far as i understood, flexion exersises would only make the musscles tighter and shorter, might explain why i didnt have any success with eccentric loading.

Your condition is common in bodybuilders / power lifters. It is just a large imbalance between the muscles that open and close the hand a well as flex and extend the wrist. You need to perform pure finger and wrist extension exercises with no gripping in order to correct this disorder. That is why I recommend Flextend, plus you will put another 1-2 inches on your forearm size.

Sorry for double posting but i want to hear the opinion of a pro on the matter. When i keep my right arm at 90degrees bend i feel a general weakness as if my arm is getting heavier and my flexor musscles are getting tighter also feeling low level pain .I wanted to start with eccentric excersices but the pain just keeps coming back when i do them.I dont want to give up sport but i canot hold a moderate heavy weight more then a min without being in pain.

Sorry for my bad english :(

This is one of the most informative videos i have seen regarding golfer's elbow. I have a similar problem for 2 years now concering the flexor musscles and tendons that attach to them.I got this chronic pain from going heavy with biceps curls.I have tried different physio therapy(RICE,ultrasound, magnets) but with no effect, i also had several cortisone shots in my right arm.Is there realy some way how one can overcome this chronic overuse injury when no inflamation is present ?

  • @SonicG6

Painreliever, bannertherapy, flextend, repetitive-strain, trigger-finger (all .com's) I believe that Painreliever is the cheapest right now. Good luck!

  • where would I buy the resistance glove?
