Over 20 years old and still trucking along. An Ford E-350 (1885 model year) cab. No major repair work. 1 breakdown in the last, I don't know how long.
Built Ford Tough.

  • Hey, I got a positive for you, Roushfan5, I like your channel, and your videos. As for you people who posted negative comments on this video, SHUT UP! When vehicles sit and are unused for a while like the one in this video, they take a little more cranking than normal. And WHAT THE HECK, the engine is running, so quit badmouthing it, idiots! As for you, Roushfan5, Nice job, and good luck!

  • I don't think they had these in 1885.

  • @Roushfan5 i know im not denying that :) ive had over 22 vehicles so far in my life. currently a 95 crown vic police car, and an 88 rx7 convertible. i LOVE FI for teh fact that is mostly get in, start up, and go. BUT i liek the older stuff, cause parts are cheap, probs are easy to diagnose, and repair

  • @yamahonkawazuki Fuel injection is a lot easier to start up, and newer cars are fantastic when they WORK. The problem is when they go wrong they are a bugger to fix. For instance our 02 Nissan Pathfinder just recently developed a coolant leak, one of the hoses went bad.

Its just a bit of hose connected with two clamps. Its going to cost nearly a thousand dollars to fix, since its wedged between the engine block and the firewall. Thats why the new stuff sometimes sucks.

  • @Roushfan5 Well the youtube experts ( lol) here think cold start = -40f or whatever. in essence a cold start is when engine is at air temp. say 75f outside engine is same. teh rambler did well. no enigne wakes up fast on a cold start. especially if tehy sit for a while. but htese old fords, and chevies and whatnot. do well. this new stuff however idk

  • @yamahonkawazuki Old girl had been sitting for at least a few weeks before this start up, it was a decent temp that day, but that engine was pretty much ice cold.

  • @eh4891 was my next question. tookher a while to crank over/wake up, but she did nicely

  • perhaps throttlebody injection? idk tho

  • that's a 460 Motor I can tell
