That settles that. An interesting exploit to be admired..just not incorporated into a SERIOUS BUSINESS run.
~So you woudn't even use it if you COULD get the Easter Egg EXP bonus and Gift of EXP? Too broken for you is it..to each their own.. I find it highly lulz worthy

I think that I will not use the swimming glitch because we will lose regen magic after AQ and the regen magic is not very important from EH to AQ. And we must waste quite a lot time to get the red orbs to enable 2 upgrades before EH and we will lose many things after it as you mentioned.
What's more, I think that the swimming glitch is totally a game breaker, I really do not want to use it in a NP speedrun even if it's much faster. Basically I will only use it for fun......

We would be hard pressed for EXP with all the skipping at that point. The Easter Egg and Gift of EXP are fairly big chances to catch up on all the EXP lost..should we really be skipping those?

So I suppose you are just amassing tricks/skips/exploits for a (possibly final) speedrun then.
~It will still likely be awhile I'd guess as the swim glitch appears to hold promise in GoWII.
Skipping everything from EH to the water just before getting the SoD *costing 2 upgrades if I recall correctly* is nice..getting regenerating magic out of the deal doesn't hurt either.

I do it in the hopes that sharing this info will eventually lead to others finding things I've missed. It tends to work out nicely.
Other then exploit testing/hunting..any intention of speedrunning *GoWII* once more?
