Supernatural vs. Twitter - Fans can't be stopped

Rules for the hash tagging on Thursday, 24th of September:
hash tags: #KAZ2Y5 #GoldenAmulet #WaywardSon #Metallicar #BringAshBack

DO NOT TAG #supernatural or anything like #lucifer or #god!
We believe that Twitter banns everything related those three tags. I know it is hard but please, don't tag SPN, use the secret hash tags. SPN fans will know what it means and we are under the radar with those.
Example: DON'T tweet " the #GoldenAmulet Dean's wearing on #supernatural is awesome!" DO tweet " the #GoldenAmulet Dean's wearing on that CW show is awesome!"

I think that's a good plan and maybe we will get all tags in the trending topics.

I see a lot people disagreeing with not hashtagging spn. I see your point but some fans and I think that twitter really banns spn. the last two weeks were examples for that. they banned spn several times from TT. do whatever you want but please don't complaine if they bann us again.

We should all make sure we follow the list of hashtags. That way our resources are not spread out too thin. I also suggest telling all SPN fans about it on the DL. Don't call it a" twitter war or "battle" lets mix it up and call it simply "the resistance." After all we SPN fans should not be denied. Censorship sucks!

Why not just do a #Sam&DeanRule hashtag? That way, it would still bring more obvious attention to the show than those more obscure hashtags? I think Twitter objects more to the religious aspects of the show than to the actual characters. No matter how you slice it, it's still overkill and sensorship on Twitter's part.

Not to mention, the #TwitterisafraidofMishasMinion­s also helped to promote the show, as Misha is part of the cast and very Twitter-active. Without any mention of SPN, the trending topics will fail. Only we who are already fans will get the point of the new tags.

We cannot NOT tweet #Supernatural. The whole point of tweeting things like #luciferiscoming and whatnot was to promote Supernatural for its FIFTH season. Without the hashtag #Supernatural being posted, no one is going to understand the point of the new hashtags.

One thing I don't get  is the whole "don't tag #supernatural" thing. Sure, the people who are ALREADY fans will know what the secret tags are about, but I thought the whole purpose of getting this stuff to trend was to get MORE people to watch, not the people that already DO watch.
