James Cauty is best known for being one half of the KLF, co-founding the Orb and setting one million quid on fire. Since the US invasion of Afghanistan, however, Cauty has turned his naturally dissenting imagination to the creation of a series of stamps as part of the Cautese Nationál Postal Disservice. Cauty recently declared the war to be officially over, and to commemorate its conclusion, he has remixed some of his "stamps for mass destruction" into oil paintings and collages — featuring such images as the Beatles on fire, the Queen in a gas mask and the Houses of Parliament ablaze. Not the most festive of exhibitions, but a good place to pick up a gift for that friend who thinks they have everything.
