they had similar thing in the isle of man( small island between ireland and the uk) crime was sorted by public flogging,they had a very very low crime rate,,its something that is a better than prison in my view for young offenders,might make them think about their actions more..prison in my view just gives the scumbags contact with other scum and share better ways to do crime
