@EmyyJayy2772 Who said anything about him replacing Jimmy? NOBODY can replace Jimmy, and he's not trying to. He was heavily influenced by Jimmy, he was one of his fav drummers and it shows in the way he plays. Would you rather there not be an Avenged Sevenfold? To continue as a band, they need a drummer. They chose Arin, and he's perfect. Of course he'll never replace The Rev. Nobody will ever forget him, but, sadly, he's not here to be behind the kit himself, no matter how much we wish he was.

In my opinion you are absolutely correct!!! no comparision one wrote it and the other barely copied it . portny has too much rush influence . I love rush but there's only one Neil Peart and there's only one rev. Both are great WRITERS that portny is fortunate to have the oppourtunity to cover!! and what a fine job he does. :)
