Shop & Go Robbery - Syringe Used - Update Arrest

Update - Arrested in connection with the robbery below is Troy Beers, 20, of 766 Lowell St. Peabody, MA. Beers was arrested in Peabody after being identified in the video.

Billerica Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 1625 hrs 4/25/10 at the Shop and Go store, 326 Salem Rd. Suspect entered store, approached the clerk, and with a needle in his outstretched hand pointed at the clerk stated I have HIV give me the money. Suspect is described as a white male about 20 years of age with a Red Sox tattoo on his upper right arm.

Tewksbury also report a similar robbery at Petes Variety at 420 Woburn St on 4/26/10. Same description, including the syringe.
