Patch 4.1
I leveled this mage to 85 with great success in battlegrounds, my best score was 104 killing blows to 4 deaths in an AV. I thought it was such a good performer that I made another 80 twink mage Plasmaz http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/tichondrius/Plasmaz/advanced

this is stupid, all your dps is simple for an arcane mage. Wait a few mins into the fight after ur burn phase and ur dps will drop drastically.
This "DPS" your doing is just burst and judging by the bosses you're fighting such as the last one............................................. every class can crit 1mil plus on it nothing special

@DandB1233 It isn't even built for raiding considering its lvl 80 not 85 and not many lvl 80's crit for 1mil plus on that fight either.. Arcane mages have always been like that anyway and its the same with just about any class with strong cooldowns such as ret paladins. My sustained dps was actually pretty good, for example towards the end I was still on 80% mana after using nothing but arcane blast for 45sec.

....i have a mage the arcane shit can only buff 5 time it cant get down to 0.9 cast and a 1mil crit yay right

@brandonismyname4 You can by stacking haste or under time warp/heroism. I had a lot of haste from random procs such as the hurricane enchant and my trinket which would stack at times. 1mil crits are entirely possible on the Ozumat encounter in throne of the tides because you get a 2000% damage buff.
