This short video combines dynamic ozone visualizations with an interview with leading atmospheric NASA scientist, Dr. Paul Newman. Dr. Newman explains why ozone is important, he cites the ingredients that cause an ozone hole to form, and he remarks on the future of the ozone, pointing to exciting new areas of ozone research, including the role climate change will play in future years.

Never understood why things that the homosapien  does are considered unnatural. Why is man made automatically unnatural. When a beaver builds a damn and floods the surrounding area that's nature isn't it? So why are mans creations viewed as unnatural?

Siting your first statement in your second statement is not proof and it's barely an argument. There is no way to know what is helping the Ozone when we don't know causes it's deterioration. Or even if it's deterioration is normal

@vengencefrom1979 Do you understand your own post? I don't. Just because you say for the record doesn't make it fact. If most or all theories surround its destruction can be thrown out the window then why are you arguing with me? Global Warming is hardly a forgone conclusion. Last year shown the highest levels of CO and scientists were convinced it would be the hottest year on record...IT WAS NOT! When we discovered the Ozone it already had a hole in it. Why do we assume we caused it?

@luckyhubbie how anyone could vote up such an idiotic statement is beyound me. would you also claim that cutting down the rain forrests is natural? the difference between a beaver and a man is that a man knows the consequences of his actions - most of the time - and a beaver doesnt. for the record, global warming is now causing a feedback on destroying the ozone hole, most, if not all 'theories' surrounding its destruction and or repair can be thrown out the door.

@nvshd You dont understand. If Earth Dies we will die. Earth will not live forever. Anything that has a begining has an end. Anything that doesn't have a begining has no end.
